PaatasalaUSA is a volunteer-run non-profit teaching Telugu language and culture. We collect only the data needed to operate classes, communicate with families, and improve our programs.
Account details (name, email, role), student enrollment details (grade level, location), class activity (attendance, homework submissions), and limited device metadata for security. We do not collect payment card data in this application.
To manage enrollment, class rosters, communications, notifications, and security auditing. We never sell or rent personal data.
Data is shared only with trusted service providers needed to run the platform (email, hosting, analytics) under confidentiality. Student data is not shared publicly.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session security. Optional analytics cookies may be used to understand usage; you can block them in your browser settings.
Accounts for minors are managed by parents/guardians. We collect only the minimum necessary student information for enrollment and classroom operations.
Enrollment and class records are retained while an account is active and as needed for program integrity. You may request deletion where legally permissible by emailing admin@paatasalausa.org.
We use role-based access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring. Report security issues to security@paatasalausa.org.
You can update profile details in your account. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data, subject to program and legal requirements.
